Choosing His Will

McKnightEnterprises.org

You have a will, a choice, and a right to choose or decide to be healed. You have the power and the control of your mind to choose and release your actions. A will is "an intention or desire, a wish or purpose to be carried out, a legal declaration or a decision made."

We were all created with a will. From our first gasp of air, we had a will, a desire to survive, and to live. All of our lives we have had to make choices how to live and how to survive. The choices we make prepare our future. We make educational choices, career choices, choices about marriage, and geological and social choices on where to raise our families. In the long run, our choices will help shape our destinies. We are the ones who choose which way we will go.

At the end of Jesus’ journey, even He had a will, a choice. In the Garden of Gethsemane, the place of prayer, Jesus said, “Not my will but Thine be done”. When God created Adam and Eve, He gave them a choice in the garden of what tree not to eat from. They chose to listen to the voice of Satan and disobeyed God. They listened to the voice of Satan telling them what they would be if they ate from the tree. They choose their fate. We can also choose ours. Just like Adam and Eve, our fate has already been determined by God … He is just watching to see which way we will choose, His way or ours. Choose Christ and live.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6)
