When we think about the life of Queen Esther, being adopted and raised by her cousin, Mordecai, I don’t think she ever thought that one day she would become queen. She probably was just happy to be alive, and glad that somebody loved her enough to take her in, instead of being left abandoned on the streets.
Mordecai trained her in the ways of the Lord and gave her hope while hearing the teaching of God's love and provision. Esther’s captivity actually became her freedom because God had already prepared and planned for her to fill the queen’s seat. Now her starlight was going to illuminate the world as the light hit on her center stage.
We will never know how things will turn out until we walk it through! Ruth was born as a rejected order, a seed of incest. She connected with Naomi, a child of the promise and walked her life out with her assignment to Naomi, and ended up in the line and lineage of Christ.
God has good things waiting on you! Keep going, keep growing.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
