We Are God's Purpose

McKnightEnterprises.org

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was dark without form and God said, “Let there be light.” Once the light was on, He began to form the earth. It all started coming together to make purpose! The earth would be needed later to house creation!

Purpose was in God's heart, and we are created in His image so purpose is in our heart as well. God brought forth the light by saying it out loud. You must speak it out loud or write it down. Writing is speaking and verbalizing your purpose. Habakkuk 2:2 says “Write the vision (purpose) so the people may see and run with it.”

Purpose is vision. Purpose lives for others to live on as well. What we birth with purpose is not just for us … it’s for all. It could be our offspring but we are still a part of that journey. Somehow, we are all connected. If by no other way than humanity for those who don't believe in God. I do, however, believe in God.

The Author and Finisher always works with a completed vision. The earth looked like chaos when He turned on the light but He began to speak and call out the things deep in its womb. Purpose can sound like a happy word, but the pain of purpose … well that's a whole book by itself. Christ suffered for the purpose set before Him … us. Sometimes that goal is all you have to keep you going forward. Purpose is ahead of you … not behind you. Purpose is until you die. Purpose is a movement long after you are gone.

To have a purpose is to answer a call, a challenge, or charge with an expectant goal to achieve. Purpose is to be, to survive, and the reason to live.

In the midst of all this craziness, don't lose your purpose!

For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)
