Three months ago, I suffered a medical emergency … I had a stroke. Now, to God be all glory, I am on my way up and out. I certainly don’t look like what I’ve been through. I am happy to report recovery is going well now. Halfway into recovery, I had a fall. I was taken immediately for x-rays. The doctor reported that I was bruised but not broken. So, you know me, l heard a message. Two Scriptures came to mind. One Scripture speaks of Christ suffering for us on the Cross and speaks of healing. The second Scripture speaks of no broken bones.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. (Psalm 34:20)
I am fully covered by Him. Someone knows my pain. Healing is a lonely process, but we know we can believe in God through it. The wait time for physical healing no one knows, but we know the therapy mind, body, and spirit covers us.
Keeping myself focus was a challenge. This stroke took me to ground zero, having to learn to do everyday tasks all over.
I have so much to share with you, but this is a good place to pause and get my new start!
