Scripture says, in the Book of John, God sent The Word and it became flesh. Once on earth, Jesus was a man of flesh. and He began to teach Kingdom principals. Remember in Heaven, Jesus was with God. So, the work of God continues on earth.
This time Christ is now the Head of the Church. He knows the wisdom of God because He is the Word made flesh. Now in human form, hoping to be closer to man to help him see this, is the only way to prosper. Jesus declares “If you see Me you see the Father. I am the door, I am the way back to the Father. Watch Me do the Fathers business and so shall you prosper.” He once again removes any and all man-made methods of getting God’s favor. No one is going to take credit for who God ordained you to be, in Heaven and on earth. So, for 3 ½ years, He poured Kingdom principals into His Church. After He departed, He sent the Holy Spirit to continue filling us with God's principals.
Jesus demonstrated God's provision through unshakable faith in all He did, from the first miracle of turning water into wine. He not only provided but upgraded the quality of the wine. Imagine the groom's shock of how the best wine was saved for last.
To get your prayers answered, you must ask in faith and believe God will do it. Sounds simple, huh? The hardest component is keeping your mind an attitude of expectancy. There will be many distractions, and things from your past and present … they will create an atmosphere of doubt. You must remember, His works and bring those thoughts to the forefront, casting down all other images or imaginations (images–nations). Nation in Greek, means ethnos (ethnicities) or people. You must cast down all negative words or thought contrary to His words and thoughts.
In the New Testament, Christ has now taken the position of Head of the Church. In the Old Testament, the Prophets were speaking to the people on God's behalf. Now, whatever Jesus spoke as Mary taught the disciples concerning the wine, “just do it.” This is the way now to get to God. This was all to make it easier to relate to our Father. Follow the Leader … Christ.
When Christ died, He sent the Holy Spirit to be the Head of the Church. Jesus said, “The Holy Spirit will now be the Head of all things, teaching you and reminding you of who you are in Me. The Holy Spirit will live in you and guide you into all truth.”
