Deliver us from evil. We made this mess!!
Restore, I pray you, to them, even this day, their lands, their vineyards, their olive yards, and their houses, also the hundredth part of the money, and of the corn, the wine, and the oil, that ye exact of them. Then said they, We will restore them, and will require nothing of them; so will we do as thou sayest. Then I called the priests, and took an oath of them, that they should do according to this promise. (Nehemiah 5:11-12)
Where are the Deliverers?
Clearly, our land needs cleansing and healing. Too much immoral pollution and killing all things that have a life! We need cleansing and need to repent for all the unjust deeds we as a nation have done. The world needs to repent to God for all of the unjust acts of bondage inflicted on the people since the earth's existence. Some races are just now getting restitution for the injustices done to their people. A deliver rises and cries injustice! Many times, it has taken one person to be the sacrifice that says enough. Mother Teresa, Dr. King, Gandhi, Mandela are a few of the ones we know. But the cycles keep repeating. Poverty, racism, lack of education, social injustices keep happening.
Deliver Us!
Where are the ones born in obscurity God wants to use today? They are being trained in His ways, works, and His Word. They are in the wilderness places, the prisons, the pits of despair, on the corners selling drugs, or selling themselves. Some are even in the high places and palaces on earth. They are learning from their mistakes and the mistakes of others. God will humble them as they see from the top, only then can they become true ambassadors for the Kingdom.
