Even Jesus had a will.
We read in the Bible, at the end of Jesus' journey even He had a will and made a choice. In the Garden of Gethsemane, the place of prayer, Jesus said, “Not my will but Thy will be done.” When God created Adam and Eve, he gave them a choice in the garden of what tree to eat from. They chose to listen to the voice of Satan and disobey God. (Genesis 3:4-5) They listened to the voice of Satan telling them what they would be if they ate from the tree. They choose their fate. We can also choose ours. God is just watching to see which way we will choose … His way or our way.
There are lessons in everything we go through. Our job is to get the lesson and then pass the test. There were reasons for the pain and suffering even though we may not have understood it then. God knew that whoever caused you pain someone had caused them pain, and it would take God to break the cycle. Someone had to blow the whistle on the devil. God doesn’t want us to hide and dance around our past, but the world does. God knows if He heals one, that grateful one will reach others.
You have the right to choose to be healed from ‘stuck where you are.’ You decide who and what you believe. Choose to walk out of bitterness into wholeness. Forgive who hurt you and see who loves you. God loves you and wants you to love life and those around you. Learn from all the painful places and walk ready and informed with God leading the way. Let go and Let's Go!!
