Watch and Pray

We are living in a very chaotic season. Everyone has an opinion about everything. You must be careful to stand on what you believe versus what you are told.
People will remember you by association. That is why you should always position yourself with those who have a good reputation … birds of a feather flock together. You must guard your mind, heart, and spirit, and watch who is around you to check their motives.
Satan’s motive was to cause division between Eve, Adam, and God’s relationship so all of mankind would be affected. He was angry about losing everything he had and sought revenge. (Misery loves company.)
Now the serpent was more subtle and crafty than any living creature of the field which the Lord God had made. And Satan said to the woman, can it really be that God has said, you shall not eat from every tree of the garden? (Genesis 3: 1-7)
Satan smoothed talked Eve into eating the fruit that God told her and Adam not to eat. The enemy’s voice convinced Eve that paradise wasn’t everything that God said it was, and told her there was more. Not only did her decision pull her out of paradise, but also out of the will of God causing a breach to occur between her and God.
We can learn this lesson from Eve. Don’t desire advice from man more than God. You will be disappointed expecting man to do what only God can do in your life. Do a ‘God check.’ Make sure you can trust the voice that is giving you advice by comparing it with the Word of God. Don't allow anything or anyone to separate you from the will and love of God. Trust Him, Trust His Truth. Guard your heart and mind.
