When Money has Control

McKnightEnterprises.org

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24)

Who or what do you love and serve? Who are you trusting to prosper the works of your hands? Who do you trust to speak into your life? These are questions we must ask ourselves and truthfully answer. In Jeremiah 29:11, it tells us that the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and End, already knows what our expected end is. He has the answer to our true success, so trust and invest in a tried and proven God. If we can invest in stocks in hopes of financial gain, then how much more should we have faith in God and let Him bring it to pass!

Whatever has control of your money has control over you. When money has control, it distracts you from what God is saying versus what man is saying. If you are serving mammon, bondage and the need to always have money will consume your mind. You can’t pray in faith or in peace, because of the threatening words of debt bombarding your mind! If you are truly serving God, fight for your peace of mind!

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

In the Bible, Jesus said many times, “According to your faith, be it unto you.” Hebrews 11: 6 says “He that comes to God must (FIRST) believe that He is, and (SECOND) a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. So, if you don’t believe He is, He can, and He will, don’t even approach Him. The simple fact is we will not embrace what we fear.

Faith is like the key that starts our car and gets us to our destination. It is the key that puts the manifestation of God’s promises into motion. Without faith it is impossible to please God and prevents His blessing from being released. Therefore, we must believe God to handle all our business. Not just our soul and body, but our prosperity too.
