Winter Seasons

A time to be still and a time to rest and secretly recover. A time to gather all the seeds that fell to the ground during fall. Now those seeds are being covered with snow as they lie dormant. Protected and hidden deep in the soil as God works undercover. He is not one to expose the seeds before they are germinated. Winter is a process, a season where one must wait for the sun to reach out and bring warmth that will allow the seed to come up and out of winter. Having been saturated in the soil and water and now the sun, what a perfect combination for growth. Scripture says one plants and one waters and God brings the increase.
Spring will come and ignite seeds with newness. The color changes from white into green. The green is on for bigger, brighter, bolder plants to emerge and shoot up with new life! Spring has sprung! Now as it springs up … do you not perceive it? Are you ready for the new? Great but much patience is needed in winter. It is a season of wait. However, you shall renew your season if you trust and obey His instructions. Behold, I do a new thing!!
