Every time there is an election and a new head is being established over a country or people, voters must seriously consider what that head will deliver to the body and vice versa. Often, those applying for such positions of leadership say that what is needed is to secure the trust and votes of the people. Later, many times that position of power changes the head or heart of that leader. It happens now, and it happened back then.
Only back then, when God spoke the earth into existence, the Head, GOD was all good. So God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit worked well together. It wasn’t until God added a man that things began to change. Another voice disrupted the peace of the God Head. He wanted the power. You see, Satan couldn’t change God’s mind for power in heaven, so he began his quest for power on earth through man … God’s creation. Satan was good at getting followers … one third of angels fell from heaven with him. Leadership, there is that word again, means the power to influence others.
There is both good and bad leadership. Money often is equated with power. Let me share a few names and you draw your own conclusions … Bill Cosby, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Hillary Clinton, Pope Francis, Vladimir Putin. What ideologies will flow from these heads to the body? Who really is qualified to be a leader?
All candidates, and all humans for that matter, are imperfect and have flaws. The thing is, which candidate most closely represents your values, your principles, your ethics, your family? That is the candidate you should put as the head of our country. That is the candidate who will best represent you as the head of our country. Use your heart, use your head, use your voice, use your power to influence.
